Dragon’s Den Tameside is pretty much the same concept as the Dragon’s Den that will first spring to your mind, but this is for Tameside Entrepreneurs only and for much less money, in the form of a grant, rather than investment.
Our very own Tracey was asked to be a part of the Dragon panel and was able to give her views and advice on the potential business ideas.
On the day, the Dragon’s gave out £6000 to 7 different budding entrepreneurs with businesses including bunting, candles, photography, toys and a student life website.
The AsOne team have also offered to mentor two of the candidates, who will receive help towards their short and long term goals from the whole team here.
Post BBC Dragon’s Den Tameside Filming
On Monday 25th November, the AsOne team were greeted by the BBC production team who spent just over an hour filming around the office, with the team performing their daily tasks. They also conducted a short interview with Tracey with regards to how the Dragon’s Den experience was for her.
We were advised that the 15 part (45 minute) episodes will be televised on BBC one in March 2014 at 10.45 after Homes under the hammer.
