Earlier this year, Martin and Joel hosted a small seminar on how to use Google Plus as a business to your advantage. The seminar included tips such as how to compete your profile, how to get people to share your posts, what to post and how to structure your posts.
Although Google Plus is more difficult to use, compared to Facebook and Twitter, it is just as, if not more important than the two biggest social networks.
We invited a group of 5 Innovation Club members to the seminar in March, where we gave our tips and advice to the members. We were also lucky enough to have Graham from Graham Kirk Video present, shooting our promotional video; he also took a couple of video testimonials from Jan from Guide Bridge MOT and Gemma from Versital, during which they explain how they found the seminar helpful.
Since the first seminar, we have held another workshop on how to use Twitter as a business, where different Innovation Club members attended and learnt some new tricks to use on Twitter, which they never knew before. Since then, they have all been using Twitter to a much better level.
Due to the success of these smaller workshops, we have decided to stop the annual seminars and place more frequent mini-seminars of 5, which come as part of your Innovation Club package. Instead of only being able to attend one, you will now be able to attend 3 seminars over the year as part of your package.
If you would like to have your name down to come to a seminar on a particular product, let us know. You can either email Martin or tweet and let us know.
