history
AsOne was established in April 2008, at a time when most businesses treated their website as a brochure. We saw it differently. A digital presence, built correctly, is a commercial asset — one that earns trust, generates leads, and adapts as the business grows.
Over 18 years we have delivered hundreds of projects across the UK and internationally. We have worked with NHS trusts, industrial manufacturers, credit unions, hospitality groups, and technology companies. The brief is always different. The standard is always the same.
We are based on the 10th Floor at 3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields. We work with businesses across Greater Manchester, the North West, and nationally. Our clients choose us because we have sector knowledge, because we are honest about what is achievable, and because we do not disappear after launch.

AsOne is a senior-led team. There are no account handlers between you and the people doing the work.
Simon has been Managing Director of AsOne for over ten years. He is responsible for strategic direction, client relationships, and the standards that define how the agency operates.
Sam oversees agency operations and leads on technical delivery. He ensures that timelines are met, briefs are understood, and clients have a clear point of contact throughout every engagement.
Alex leads digital design and project execution. He works across web, brand, and interface projects, with particular depth in UI/UX and complex WordPress builds.
Mihai handles web infrastructure, server configuration, and technical support. He is the first point of contact for hosting, security, and site performance queries.

We work across three connected disciplines: web development, SEO and GEO, and digital design. They are offered as independent services because they are genuinely different disciplines — but they are built to operate as a single system.
A site built by AsOne is engineered for performance: clean architecture, Core Web Vitals, WCAG 2.2 accessibility, semantic HTML. When you choose to pursue SEO or GEO as a separate service, the technical foundations are already in place.
Our secondary services — PPC, hosting, social media — extend that system where it is relevant to your goals. We will tell you when something is not worth your budget. That is not modesty. It is what 18 years of working in complex sectors looks like.
SECTOR SPECIALISM
Healthcare and manufacturing are our primary specialisms. Over a decade of focused work in these sectors means we are not learning on your brief.
Healthcare demands WCAG-compliant builds, GDPR-aware infrastructure, and an understanding of how patients and commissioners research and make decisions. We have delivered for NHS trusts, private clinics, and health technology platforms.
Manufacturing requires an understanding of long procurement cycles, technical buyer psychology, and the specific challenge of communicating complex value to cautious, specification-driven decision-makers. We have delivered lead generation, content strategy, and full digital infrastructure for industrial and B2B manufacturers across the UK.
We are also experienced in finance, marine, and hospitality. Our sector knowledge is the kind that comes from doing the work, not from describing it.
We have declined briefs that were not the right fit. We do not take on projects in sectors where we cannot add specific value. Healthcare and manufacturing are our primary specialisms because we have earned that depth over more than a decade.
You will not be passed to a graduate account manager six weeks in. The people who assess your brief are the people who deliver it. That accountability is built into how we operate.
If a service is not right for your situation, we will say so. That has cost us revenue. It has also built client relationships that have lasted years. We think that is the better trade.
